ISO 27001

The leading international standard, ISO 27001, strongly emphasizes information security. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) collaborated to publish this paper. Both are critical international institutions in charge of creating laws and regulations. It is crucial to remember that ISO 27001 is a part of the ISO/IEC 27000 series, a group of standards designed to address information security when trying to understand better what this standard means. The most important part of that set is ISO 27001 since it describes how to handle every facet of security. Its full title is “ISO/IEC 27001 – Information Security, Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection — Information Security Management Systems — Requirements.” The most significant part of the set is ISO 27001.
