Lunis Associates is an independent editorial guide for founders who want to set up a Dutch BV from abroad and need to decide who should do it for them. The market for formation services is crowded, prices are hard to compare, and the differences between a notary, an online platform, a boutique firm and a large advisory practice are rarely explained in one place.

What we do

We publish guides on how to vet an agent, what a fair fixed-fee package includes, how long each route really takes, and which warning signs should make you walk away. Where we assess a type of provider or an individual agent, we use the same six criteria every time: price transparency, speed to registration, non-resident fit, scope of service, aftercare and accountability.

How we work

Our assessments are based on information that a founder could check themselves: published prices and package terms, public registers, terms of service and the documented Dutch formation process. We state what an agent does not do as clearly as what it does. When the facts change, we update the page and its date.
